Hamish’s broken arm meant he had to skip his private tennis lesson today so Will happily stepped in to his place.
The coach was a little surprised when I suggested Will could have a lesson instead. He started out bouncing a ball to Will but they soon moved on to forehands and I think Will might just have impressed the coach a little (says the proud mum!). Will had a ball (pardon the pun) and really learnt a lot in the half hour. It absolutely killed Hamish to watch – he just wanted to be out there hitting the ball. Will really enjoyed the opportunity and it was nice for him to have some special attention after so much attention being showered on Hamish for the last 10 days.
